13 hectare

Huize Glory boasts 13 hectares of private land. Each plot has its own unique characteristics. There are beautiful views and narrow forest paths. Because Huize Glory is situated on the highest dune in Bergen aan Zee, there is also a beautiful stretch of dune landscape with a view of the sea. A few years ago, the line of sight towards the sea was restored, providing you with a magnificent view of the sea from the terrace.

Country house

In 1916, construction began on this villa on top of the

Russenduin. Construction has been underway for more than a year.

The house was designed by architects Van Gendt, according to the principles of the Amsterdam School. Many luxury materials were used, including tile panels, marble, wood carvings, and stained-glass windows.

The country house currently comprises 11 rooms, 13 apartments, 3 halls, 1 restaurant, 1 terrace, several beautiful halls, and a lookout tower.

Outbuilding

Three large apartments are now situated in the outbuilding, surrounded by nature. Originally, the outbuilding served as

coach house and stables. In 1930, the outbuilding was converted into a sports building by the Bio Vacantieoord, with a gymnasium and an indoor swimming pool.



Playground

Thanks to the large private grounds, Huize Glory has created a beautiful outdoor playground. Recently, it also features a fun, homemade treehouse. It is ideal for small children to enjoy various play equipment in a safe environment.

Lands

Nowhere in the area will you find a terrace with such a unique view as the one on the Russenduin in Bergen aan Zee. Thanks to the line of sight, you can enjoy your lunch with a breathtaking panorama. Our terrace seats 50 guests and is open weather permitting.



Restaurant

In the heart of the country house is the grand dining room, where our restaurant is now located. All unique and authentic elements have been preserved in the restaurant. Through the large windows, you have a view of the sea and can let yourself be pampered while enjoying a delicious lunch.
